India's Golden Triangle Tour

A great introduction to Northern India

For me, the Golden Triangle is a must for anyone who wants an introduction to Northern India. Of course there is the stunning Taj Mahal, and incredible forts and palaces to wonder at, but you also get to jump into the hustle and bustle of some of India's major cities and experience a culture which is distinctly different from home. Personally, I loved trying the amazing food - especially Dal Tadkha - and staying at the Talabgaon Castle in rural Rajasthan for a real change of pace.

Walking Holiday in Slovakia

A hidden-gem of Europe.

Slovakia really surprised me in the best way. One day I was wandering Bratislava's cobbled streets, enjoying the city's charm, and just a couple of days later I was up in the Mala Fatrá mountains, surrounded by wildflowers, hidden alpine lakes, and jaw-dropping views. What stuck with me the most when I got back home was how overlooked Slovakia is. Sandwiched between Austria and the Czech Republic, it somehow doesn't get the attention it deserves. And honestly, that's part of the magic. The trails are quiet, the towns un-touristy, and the landscapes are basically untouched. It still very much feels like a hidden gem.

Snowshoeing in the French Alps

Stunning landscape!

Wonderful to learn a new skill in stunning landscape. Antoine is an excellent guide, with amazing knowledge of the history of the valley as well as the flora and fauna. He is also great fun! The peace of walking through the valley in winter is astonishing, the silence is so deep.

Himalayan Wildlife Tour, India

It was a truly amazing experience!

This was a genuine trip of a lifetime for me. To travel through so many stunning landscapes and to be treated to such warm Ladakhi hospitality was a highlight in itself. The cherry on the top however, was getting to see such rare and wonderful wildlife including the beautiful snow leopard and Himalayan bear. It was a truly amazing experience!

Gentle Walking Bhutan

The perfect balance.

The trip was a perfect balance of gentle walking whilst learning about this mystical country and its culture. Both our guide and driver really looked after us. Am smitten and will revisit as the Trans Bhutan Trail beckons. Would have loved an extra night in Haa and Gangtey . Loved first hand experience of the Black necked Crane festival. We experienced travelling from West, Paro to central East up to Bumtang and was fortunate to see Mt Everest and parts of the Himalayan ranges twice on the flights to Paro and back from Bumtang. Food was fresh and loads of options for a vegetarian. The overnight stays were very comfortable. This was the best 2 weeks to lose oneself in a mystical kingdom -highly recommend this trip.

Gentle Walking Bhutan

Wonderful experience.

Wonderful experience, totally different from Nepal and Sikkim.

Hidden Valleys of Bhutan

Great introduction to Bhutan as a country!

Great introduction to Bhutan as a country, culture and religion as well hiking with overnight camping (which we had never done before). We had a superb guide, helpful, informative and knowledgeable as well as an excellent driver who successfully navigated us through some long, narrow and extremely twisty roads. Homestays add an extra dimension beyond just hotels.

A great experience.

We were superbly guided on the walk by Tam and the lodges were in fantastic locations with wonderful staff. Smooth organisation throughout and staying at Dwarika’s in Kathmandu was a great experience.

Cultural Cycling Tour of Bhutan

An amazing trip!

Bhutan; a simply stunning country and an amazing trip.

Cultural Cycling Tour of Bhutan

We experienced the best of Bhutan.

Great balance of cycling, cultural visits, homestay and walking. We experienced the best of Bhutan.

Walking Holiday in Nepal

The trip was very well organised and ran efficiently.

The trip was very well organised and ran efficiently. It was a good mix of town, countryside, culture, walks and relaxation. The accommodation was very good throughout and the food plentiful, to the point of excessive. Everywhere we went people were friendly, helpful and happy to enjoy a mutual exchange of information about ourselves. Personally I most enjoyed the countryside areas and especially our walk from Bandipur and time in the lodge there.

Kangchenjunga Trek Sikkim, India

Another great trek with MK.

Another great trek with MK. Our trekking team were superb looking after us. The scenery was outstanding and the weather was great. It is a tough trek but well worth the effort. We did not come across many other trekkers and even had some of the lodges to ourselves!

Makalu Base Camp Trek

Lots of “wow” moments!

I have trekked extensively in Nepal and this trip is right up there with the best. It isn’t just about spectacular peaks and stunning views although you do get those - but also the amazing and varied vegetation which will be even better in spring (IMO). Lots of “wow” moments. The trails are still relatively quiet and in much better condition than I expected. Lodges were all clean with welcoming staff. Mani our guide was fabulous, great local knowledge and we had full confidence in him. Our porters were a joy. A great experience all round.

North to South Vietnam

Itinerary was well thought out.

Good group size. Itinerary was well thought out and made sure we saw major parts of the country. However there were aspects which we think were missed and we asked for them to be included. The guides were great and willing to accommodate our changes and requests without any fuss.

Naar Phu Circuit Trek

Exceptionally well organised!

The Naar Phu Circuit trek was exceptionally well organised, with thoughtful pacing, excellent local guiding, and access to remote villages that made the experience feel genuinely unique. Crossing Kang La Pass, exploring Phu and Naar, and staying in comfortable teahouses all came together to create one of the most memorable trips I’ve taken.

Fantastic guide.

The dogs were fantastic, happy and very healthy. Our guide was supportive and professional. Accommodation was as described - rustic and off grid, surrounded by wilderness. Group size was perfect, very small. Food was excellent, varied and plentiful. Our guide Anniina was very friendly, supportive and professional throughout our trip. It was her first 5 day sledding experience and she was brilliant. She was very consultative, getting our input to our daily excursions, chores and meals. Couldn’t ask for a better tour lead.

Nepal & Bhutan Explorer

I will definitely be returning.

I'd wanted to do this trip for several years and it was definitely worth the wait. Bhutan in particular made a huge impact on me and left me struggling to find the words to explain why! It is like nowhere else - the peace, calmness, people, colours, culture, history, traditions and incredible natural beauty. I loved visiting the beautiful temples and learning about Buddhist culture and practices. The whole trip was perfectly paced with great guides and drivers, who worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best time. And shared their knowledge and pride generously, and with great patience and humour. I will definitely be returning to explore some more!

Gentle Walking Eastern Bhutan

Bhutan is beautiful!

We really loved the beauty and constantly changing landscapes of the country, the warmth of its people, the amazing religious and other architecture and learning from our wonderful guide so much about the culture, the history, the ways of life and how the king and government are trying to preserve what is valuable and unique. The air is pure and nature is preserved. Unique opportunity to see more remote and distant areas. Our guide and two drivers were excellent. Immensely helpful and resourceful they looked after us very well indeed.

Temple Trails & Homestays in Bhutan

Beautiful Bhutan.

Bhutan must be one of the most beautiful and unspoilt countries I have ever seen. Both the landscape and the people combine to make it a very special place indeed. We did some amazing treks with sublime views and visited some incredible temples and festivals. Our guide and driver were absolutely superb and the homestay experience was quite unique. The highlight of the trip was the hike up to Tiger's Nest Monastery which must be one of the modern wonders of the world.

Kangchenjunga Trek Sikkim, India

Great trek!

The trekking crew were fantastic and the hotel accommodation was very good and interesting.
