Travel Insurance
It is very important, and a condition of booking with Mountain Kingdoms, that you have adequate valid travel insurance for your holiday.
- Arranging appropriate travel insurance and ensuring that you have read and understood the full terms and conditions of your chosen travel insurance policy is your responsibility, as is checking that you are covered for all activities you intend to undertake whilst on holiday.
- Your chosen travel insurance policy must fully cover you for cancellation, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, for the entire duration of your holiday, and if travelling at altitude please check that your holiday remains below the upper altitude limit, if there is one in your policy. The maximum altitude can be found in your Mountain Kingdoms holiday itinerary, or contact us on 01453 844400 if you are unsure. You should also check that the full value and duration of your holiday is covered, especially if you are extending and/or upgrading accommodation, and we also recommend that your policy includes cover for Covid.
- As part of your holiday booking pack we will send you a Travel insurance Form which you will need to complete and return to us with details of your chosen travel insurance policy, so that we know that you are insured and who with, just in case an emergency should arise.
How can I get Travel Insurance?
If you don't have your own travel insurance, or it does not provide adequate cover for your Mountain Kingdoms holiday, we can direct you to our Mountain Kingdoms policy arranged through our insurance brokers, Campbell Irvine. This single trip policy has no upper altitude limit, includes Covid cover and is specifically designed to cover any activity booked and arranged with Mountain Kingdoms.
