Providing Safe Drinking Water to Ginette Harrison School, Nepal

Mountain Kingdoms, along with a number of its clients, has recently donated over £600 to the Shiva Charity which is continuing its amazing work in Nepal.
Mountain Kingdoms has supported Shiva Charity for many years with particular emphasis on the Ginette Harrison School based in remote Rabi-Opi, near Banepa, Nepal. This school was built in memory of the renowned British climber who sadly lost her life in an avalanche on Dhauligiri in 1999.
Our current donation will go towards providing drinking water at the Ginette Harrison School using reverse osmosis filters, as children currently drink water from a nearby unfiltered spring. In addition the charity will be providing first aid training focussing on hygiene, along with a new first aid kit.
The project is costing around £2,500 and with the help of Mountain Kingdoms, Shiva are close to achieving this goal. If you like to help Shiva achieve their goal, please do consider donating via https://www.justgiving.com/shiva/donate.
