Mountain Kingdoms bake-off and race for Comic Relief

Mountain Kingdoms bake-off and race for Comic Relief

The Mountain Kingdoms’ staff have been very busy in the last couple of weeks thinking of creative ways to raise money for Comic Relief.

On Saturday 14 March, staff members Ashley Peachey, Harry Gray, Liz Noakes and Niki Morgan took on the Chipping Sodbury Park run, and Mountain Kingdoms donated £20 on behalf of each of them to Comic Relief. Ashley and Harry were new to running, so running non-stop for 5k was quite a challenge for them. They proved their worth and achieved very good times. Harry has now got the bug, and went back the following week, smashing his debut performance by four minutes!

All 14 staff members baked a fantastic spread of cakes for the inaugural 20/20 Fission road race in Berkeley on Saturday 21 March. The hungry runners were thrilled with the vast array of culinary delights on offer at the finish. £200 was raised, bringing the total fundraising tally for Comic Relief to £280.

Mountain Kingdoms clients return to Bhutan

Mountain Kingdoms clients return to Bhutan

"Amazing scenery and sights with the most hospitable people you’re ever likely to meet. Our guide was superb and all the camp crew were great. The Druk Path trek may be a short trek but the altitude makes it more challenging as most of it is over 3500m, we were well looked after and the food was amazing in camp."
