Nothing quite prepares you for a trip to the great white continent. It was the most breathtaking, jaw dropping, tears in the eyes, and lump in the throat experience of my life to have had the privilege to visit Antarctica.

Away from the crowds
Visiting the north of the island while it still has few tourists was a privilege and greatly interesting and enjoyable. It was an authentic experience and to be encouraged for anyone who is not afraid to go off the beaten track a bit.

Beautiful accommodation
I really enjoyed this centre-based holiday as I knew each day I could stretch my legs with a great walk to take in the fantastic scenery, but then return to comfortable accommodation afterwards. The Old Vicarage was beautiful and the food filling and delicious.

A hidden gem
Just a big thank you to Mountain Kingdoms for organising our holiday which was absolutely fabulous.ÊThe islands are a hidden gem, on the last day the wall to wall sunshine made it feel like a mix of the Alps and the AegeanÉbut without lots of people, just sun, sea, snow-capped mountains and a view to die forÉ.what more could you want?Ê

Incomparable scenery
The scenery and natural environment in general on Lofoten is almost incomparable in its beauty and peacefulness. The lodge we stayed in is ideal, allowing flexibility and great comfort. All the food provided was excellent.

Stunning walks
Really amazing holiday, exceeded expectations. Location of walks was stunning. Accommodation was excellent, quiet and in a lovely position. Food: wow. Leader was excellent. Good information and answering questions beforehand. Small group, not 'run of the mill'.

The perfect adventure
If you want a short yet challenging trek, with fantastic views and exciting (but easily manageable) glacier crossings, then this is the perfect holiday. The two nights in remote mountain huts add to the sense of adventure.

Pleasant walks & lovely climate
What I love about this trip is the variety. ItÕs a lovely mix of coastal walks, exploring the Lycian ruins, and relaxation on a boat around Kekova Island. The climate is pleasant, the food plentiful, and the people very welcoming. ItÕs shown me that the Turquoise Coast is much more than just a package holiday destination.
I found Cappadocia truly fascinating. The landscape is so rich and diverse that at every turn I was greeted with a glorious view. A particular highlight was the walk up Bozdag Plateau, the uninterrupted views were amazing. The cave dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period were really impressive, as were the majestic fairy chimneys.
It was a most enjoyable trip, made, as is often the case, by the people on the trek. Certainly our little group gelled very well and I think we all enjoyed the chat and companionship as much as the walking. Alberto our guide was excellent with a good appreciation of British humour and customs.
