It was a very enjoyable adventure trip, well planned and full of interest. The way the places we stayed in gradually built up in altitude was very helpful.
The itinerary was excellent. Each day we saw/visited amazing, unique places that made me stop in my tracks. Feel lucky to have been to Tibet, I can't praise it enough. I loved the hotels in Tibet; may not have been 5 star but had character and the staff were excellent.

Hugely valuable experience
I have given the trip an "excellent" tick since it is hard to criticise an organisation that succeeded in delivering what was, for me, a hugely valuable experience - where the location genuinely transcended my expectation.

Magnificent!
The trekking and camping experience brought us very close to local people which I very much enjoyed. Going to such a remote area - magnificent!

Enjoyable adventure trip
It was a very enjoyable adventure trip, well planned and full of interest. The way the places we stayed in gradually built up in altitude was very helpful. It was a tough trip in physical terms but a great experience.

Exceeded our expectations
We enjoyed following in Matthieson's footsteps. The holiday exceeded our expectations, we had a wonderful time.
Very efficient service from the UK office and excellent support from the team in Kathmandu. The Sherpas were well chosen and gave outstanding support on trek. It was always reassuring to know that good support would always be available in the event of any problems.
As with my previous two trips to Nepal with MK, the standard of organisation was first-class. I also believe that your local partners deliver a 'best in class' level of service to your clients.
I thought the festival was quite amazing and completely mediaeval, as was Lo Manthang itself, a wonderful reward for six days hard walking. Unforgettable.
