Water-to-Go bottles – a good news story

For the last five years we’ve been giving free MK Water-to-Go bottles to clients travelling on all of our cultural tours and many of our walking holidays. These unique reusable filter bottles eliminate 99.9% of all harmful bugs and contaminants from water so that you can re-fill them from any water supply – even a puddle – and know that it will be safe to drink. This means that you don’t need to buy single-use plastic bottles, no matter where in the world you are.
To date, we’ve given out 1,500 Water-to-Go bottles with each one replacing an estimated 400 single-use bottles. That’s well over 500,000 plastic bottles that haven’t been bought and thrown away. Water-to Go have themselves replaced 212,000,000 single-use bottles – a phenomenal amount which will help protect the oceans from plastic pollution. Now that really is news to shout about.
If you aren’t going on one of our trips but would like a MK Water-to-Go bottle you can buy one directly from us at a specially discounted rate of £21 plus p&p. Each bottle holds 75cl and a filter lasts for approximately 200 litres. Replacement filters are available from Water-to-Go, also at a special MK rate.
