Damchen Resort

The Damchen Resort is a newly renovated hotel sitting on the banks of the Puna Chhu River in the Punakha valley. There are 35 rooms at the Damchen from standard to deluxe but all are clean and bright with wooden furniture and nice decorative touches. They come complete with coffee/tea makers, fridges and Wi-Fi. The hotel is a short, easy walk from the small 'new' town of Khuruthang which has a selection of shops and restaurants, but if you'd prefer to eat at the hotel, you can enjoy riverside dining as the sun sets.
