A ride to save lives
This year, two admirable families are fundraising for Interburns by doing a trip from Kathmandu to Dhaka (K2D), all whilst travelling on motorbikes! During their journey the two families will meet both burns staff and patients from Nepal, through North East India and to Bangladesh.
Interburns is a worldwide charity dedicated to providing training, education, research and support with the aim of improving burn care treatment and prevention in less developed countries.
During their ride, they aim to raise £100 per mile (a total of £150,000) for Interburns which will go towards improving burn care and burn prevention in the three countries visited.
Mountain Kingdoms are amazed by the families dedication to this worthy cause, and so we have donated £100 towards their funds.
For more information about the two families fundraising, Interburns and to make a donation, please take a look at their website.
Best of luck to the Potokar and Jones families!
