Colour in and name the elephant competition

Download our competition entry form and then post it to us, or email it to charlotte@mountainkingdoms.com, to be in with a chance of winning a years adoption of an asian elephant with WWF. This includes a cuddly toy elephant, stickers, fact book and 3 issues of Wild World magazine.
We are going to pick our favourite name and use it for our 138kg wooden elephant, which is currently on its way from India to our offices in Gloucestershire. Once it has arrived, the local children will be able to see the elephant on their way to/from school. We are really looking forward to seeing the entries and will use our favourite pictures to decorate the windows of our high street office. Closing date is 15th July. We thought that we would run a colouring competition, in conjunction with the naming competition, as when our MD was a boy, he won a drawing competition, with a sketch of a dragon. Steve went on to form Mountain Kingdoms, which features a dragon in the logo.

The Passing of Phuntchok Dawa, King of Padum
It is with great sadness that we pass on the news of the death of Phuntchok Dawa, gyalpo (precious ruler) of Padum in the Himalayan kingdom of Zanskar, Ladakh. Phuntchok actually died on 28th May 2023 but the news has only now reached us.
Half marathon triumph

MK Operations Manager Niki Morgan won a silver medal in her Female Veteran 55 category, completing the testing course in 1 hour 34 minutes and 39 seconds....
