Luxury Lodges of Everest

From stylish Dwarika’s hotel in Kathmandu to the super-comfortable lodges nestled amidst the high peaks of the Everest region, this short film will give you a taste of our Luxury Lodges of Everest holiday.

Bringing together the rich architectural heritage of Nepal with modern day comfort and the highest standards of service, Dwarika’s hotel is a wonderfully indulgent way to start your holiday. With a pool, spa, fine dining and luxurious rooms your every need will be catered for.

From Kathmandu you take the spectacular flight to Lukla giving you the first tantalising glimpse of the Himalayan scenery to come. Situated high in the Khumbu region, Lukla is the trailhead for routes to Everest and beyond and is also the place where you will meet your Sherpa guide and trekking crew. Your route from Lukla follows well-trodden paths with glorious views of high mountains and fertile, verdant valleys from start to end. Your thrilling first views of Everest’s lofty peak come as you make the ascent to Namche Bazaar – the Sherpa capital of the Khumbu.

One of the most memorable days of your trek comes when you reach Thyangboche Monastery at the head of the Sacred Valley. From this magical setting you can enjoy breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and the Everest range and take a moment for reflection in the serene atmosphere of the Buddhist temple.

Accommodation en-route is at four luxury lodges with those at Monjo, Mende and Tashinga surpassing anything else in the Everest region in terms of quality. Comfy beds, en-suite bathrooms and excellent local food are standard, and you can always be ensured of a warm welcome and excellent service from the well-trained staff.
