We had a wonderful time with lots of fun and numerous experiences to recall. The trekking was fantastic. The feeling of exhilaration when we eventually reached the lodge was fantastic and any pain experienced in getting there was forgotten. We saw some marvellous scenery and also met some wonderful people on the way. All in all it was a breathtaking experience. If you ever fancy trekking up and down mountains then white water rafting down jade green rivers, and feeling completely free of stress with no contact with the outside world, then this trip may be just what you need.

The perfect Christmas trek between high quality lodges situated in the Annapurna foothills.
We start with a stay in Kathmandu at the celebrated Dwarika’s hotel, before flying to Pokhara to start our six-day trek. It is approximately five hours’ slow walk between the lodges, which have comfortable lounges, attractive bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, hot running water, flush loos and electricity. After the trek there is some easy rafting on the Seti River. For those not keen on rafting, for a supplement, a visit to Chitwan National Park is an alternative option. Christmas day is spent on trek amidst beautiful scenery and there will no doubt be a glass of mulled wine to enjoy in the evening. On New Year’s Eve you can watch the sunset on the old year at Dwarika’s Shangri La Hotel from where there are stunning views of the Himalaya.
