A thorough exploration of the Khumbu region staying in super comfortable lodges.
After time spent exploring Kathmandu
from our base in the heritage hotel,
Dwarika’s, we fly into Lukla and trek up
to the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar. From
here we ascend steadily through a series of
pretty Sherpa villages, with plenty of time to
relax and enjoy our grand surroundings. This
trek will be operated in the same indulgent
style as our highly popular Luxury Lodges
trek in the Annapurna foothills. It
is however a more demanding trek and is at
slightly higher altitude, though nothing very
excessive in Himalayan terms. The lodges
themselves far surpass anything else that
exists in the Everest region. The scenery is
sensational, as we find ourselves surrounded
by many of the Himalayan giants, including, of course, fabulous close up views of Everest and the ever elegant Ama Dablam.
