Every stage of our holiday, from initial enquiry to the end of our trek was well organised and efficiently supervised. We enjoyed our trip immensely.
Mr I Mr & Mrs M, Herefordshire

We all had a fabulous time. All 12 of our group successfully climbed Gokyo Ri, Cho La and Kala Pattar. The Sherpas were great and the porters astounded us with their hard work. I would certainly recommend you to to others and would also use you again.
Mr M, Sunderland

A fantastic holiday. Service and organisation both before and during the trek were first class. Our sherpas also spoke highly of your company and said that it was one of the few that actually looked after the needs of porters.

A longer variant of the classic trek which includes an ascent of Gokyo Ri.

** New departure - 25th October **
A slightly longer variant of the classic Everest Base Camp trek taking in the turquoise Gokyo lakes and an ascent of Gokyo Ri.

Two days after the exciting flight from Kathmandu, landing at the mountain airstrip at Lukla, we arrive at the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar. Here we rest and acclimatise before trekking to Thyangboche Monastery. Two of our autumn departures will attend the lively Mani Rimdu festival held here.

Now the serious trek to Everest Base Camp begins, and from Lobuche we will ascend the rocky outcrop of Kala Pattar, (5,545m/18,188ft) to look down on the base camp of the world’s highest peak and into the famous Western Cwm. Next comes the exciting crossing of the Cho La, (5,400m/17,700ft), that leads over to the Gokyo Lakes from Everest. A scramble ascent of nearby Gokyo Ri, (5,483m/17,984ft) gives more spectacular views of Everest and the beautiful turquoise Gokyo lakes.

Call Mountain Kingdoms today on 01453 844 400 or enquire online to take the first step towards Everest Base Camp, the Gokyo Lakes, and beyond. Please note that the trekking route varies by departure.
