Dhaulagiri Circuit , Nepal
| Grade: | Strenuous Expedition Grade Trek | |
| Duration: | 20 days from the UK | On Trek: 12 days |
| Leader: | MK Appointed Leader | Guaranteed to run for a minimum of 5 clients |
A genuinely ‘wild’ adventure for the trekking enthusiast through stunning high mountain scenery.
Price reduced by up to £250
Unlike some of our other Wild Nepal treks, the Dhaulagiri Circuit does not require special permit fees. It is therefore comparatively less expensive but equally exciting, challenging and off the beaten track.
The circuit around its more famous neighbour, Annapurna, has become a world classic walk, but we feel the route around the world’s ninth highest mountain, Dhaulagiri, offers a much greater sense of exploration for those who are keen to see a piece of wild mountain country.
Steady acclimatisation takes us through picturesque terraced villages before ascending a glacier for incredible views from French Col, 17,585ft/5,360m. The views across to the Annapurnas, stretching down to the Terai are also spectacular, and our Marketing Manager, Jude Limburn Turner, rates this trek as one of her all-time favourites. This really is about as wild as treks get!
