Days 21 to 24: Last Days in India

Day 21-23

Today I went off with four others from the group for a three day elephant safari in the Chitwan National Reserve. The rest of the group stayed in Kathmandu to explore and do shopping and the boys went off to do the world's second highest bungee jump- crazy!

Day 24

This was our last day in Kathmandu and I was pretty sad to be leaving. We had to leave for the airport at noon so I forced Dave to get up early with me this morning to see as much of the city as we could (and some last minute shopping!).

The plane home left at 2 from Kathmandu to Delhi and once we got to India we were stuck in the airport for 6 hours waiting for our plane back to Heathrow. I managed to sleep most of the journey but waking up in London I found out that the airline had managed to lose one of my bags typical!

Leaving everyone at the airport was really sad. We all shared so many memories, the goodbyes were quite a tearful event!
