We’re always pleased to read about the experiences of travellers in and around the Annapurna Circuit, especially when they result in such a sense of accomplishment as described in this blog post on the Ottsworld blog. The feeling of achievement that overcoming a challenge on a trek, especially a personal challenge as described on the blog post, can be a very powerful and positive moment in a person’s life, and a trekking holiday with family can be an extremely bonding experience.
It’s also amazing just how different two treks along the Annapurna Circuit can be, depending on the route and the duration. Another post at SouthofWatford describes a trek along the Annapurna Circuit, with vastly different scenery to the Ottsworld trek above. It’s always astonishing just how many different climates can be found along the circuit; from the colder regions higher up in the mountains to the more temperate lower areas.
Another amazing photo-journal is the one kept by Mark Warner, who provides photos documenting his 21-day trek of the Annapurna Circuit. It gives a good glimpse into day-to-day life on the Annapurna Circuit, as well as providing shots of some stunning natural scenery.
In all of the examples above, we’re amazed by the dedication trekkers can show, both in accomplishing their goals on a trek, and documenting it with videos, pictures, and even blog posts to tell the stories of their own individual reactions to everything they’ve seen and done. Keep up the good work!
